What chainage tells you
A location reference helps connect the discussion to the work.
In the programme
Chainage identifies a position along an alignment. A published range helps distinguish one section from another.
It does not explain every technical requirement within that section. Read it with the drawings and documents that define the package.
Use the full range when referring to a section in an enquiry. Precision in the reference reduces avoidable ambiguity.
